Subject: Consequences for Social Security Fraud Act
Description: McClintock (R-CA) bill which allows the government to deport people who are in the country illegally if they have been convicted of Social Security fraud or making false statements regarding an identification document. CPAC supports measures to make it easier for law enforcement to do its job, and supported this bill. The House passed the bill, but it was not taken up in the Senate.
