Subject: Standard for Determining Joint Employer Status
Description: This resolution by James (R-MI) reverses a Biden labor rule that threatens part time workers by using the Congressional Review Act to eliminate the Obama-issued, Biden-backed rule that changed the Joint Employer Rule and virtually eliminated part time work. The rule forced them to live under the heavy regulations of full-time employees. CPAC opposed this change that aimed at eliminating the "gig" economy and supported this resolution. The House passed the resolution, but it was vetoed by the President.
Result: Passed, 206-177
