Description: This bill sponsored by Rep. Letlow (R-LA), known as the "Parents Bill of Rights Act", recognizes that parents have the primary responsibility to care for their children and are thereby entitled to know what is being taught in schools. It declares that parents have the right to review their children's school's curriculum, the right to know if the school allows males to use women's restrooms, and the right to inspect the books in the school's library. CPAC supports parental rights in education and supported this bill.
