Description: Byrd (D-WV) motion to table, and thus kill, the Allen (D-AL) amendment to disapprove the President's recommended pay increase for members of Congress, federal judges, and top level executive branch officials. The pay raise is not justified and serves to further insulate Congressmen and Senators from the harsh realities of inflation suffered by taxpayers.
