Description: Kennedy (R-LA) amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2024 prohibiting the President from voting to allocate Special Drawing Rights at the International Monetary Fund to countries that sponsor terrorist organizations or commit genocide. CPAC supports efforts to cut the purse strings of state sponsors of terrorism and supported this amendment. (A 3/5 vote was needed for the amendment to pass.)
