Subject: Working to Reduce Regulatory Burdens on Employers Nationwide
Description: Miller (R-IL) amendment to the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Appropriations Act for FY 2024 which completely defunds the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). While OSHA may have provided value when it was first created, it now wages bureaucratic war on employers. CPAC believes that regulations on businesses of the nature that OSHA promulgates should instead be imposed at the state level, and supported this amendment.
