Description: Motion to table (kill) an amendment to the Federal Aviation Administration authorization bill that would limit the application of the Davis-Bacon Act to federal projects. Davis-Bacon requires contractors to pay "prevailing wages", usually union wages on a project, usually well above the market rate and adding billions of dollars in cost to federal projects and adding to the deficit.
